Training Update

It has been awhile since I did an update!!  It has been crazy around our house but I am trying to keep with my training.  I am up to running almost my entire 20 minutes on the treadmill & I am feeling great about my progress!!  I have also manged to lose about 3 pounds which was not my goal when started training!!  I am planning do a run outside tomorrow!!  Let's see how that goes.

I am about a month away from the race & I am getting nervous but I am really looking forward to it!!  I just want to finish the race & be able to say "Look what I did world"!!

Trainng Update

This week was a little crazy for training!!!  There was no bootcamp on Monday.  Which kinda bummed me out!! :(

But I was back at it Tuesday.  I ran on the Treadmill for 20 minutes & did 1 1/2 miles!!  Then I did weights!!  My workout buddy, Deb, was there on Tuesday.  I like it better when she is there, because we may not talk while we are there but just her being motives me!!  I hope I motive her too!! 

I went to the Gym on Wednesday, which is normally my off day,  I did 20 minutes on the Treadmill & weights again.  I didn't go Thursday because it was Open House at Cole's School!!

Today I went to Target & got some Running shorts!!  The shorts I have been wearing are not really running shorts.  I will still wear them to Kickboxing & Bootcamp.  But I need some running shorts.

I am going to Kickboxing this morning!!  I hope I will do OK because I haven't been in 2 weeks!!

Tomorrow I will do a run outside!!  Hopefully I will do better this week than I did last week!!

Training Update

I have been training hard this last week.  Thursday I ran on the treadmill for 20 minutes.  I ran about 2 miles.  That is my longest run so far!!!  I skipped Kickboxing on Saturday because we had a lot going on.  Today I ran outside and probably did a mile but I am not sure!!  Running outside is a lot harder than running on the treadmill.

Next week there is not bootcamp so I think I may do another run outside!!  Then 2 treadmill runs.
