Today I thought
I would share a couple easy smoothie recipes.
I am absolutely in love with my Ninja Bullet. I love that I can make so many different
smoothies. I am not really into the
protein powers. They can get a little
pricey. So instead I use Instant
Breakfast & I think it works pretty good.
I usually get the variety box. I come with Strawberry, Vanilla, Milk
Chocolate, Dark Chocolate & Chocolate Malt pouches. I thought I would share
a couple recipes that can be altered to fit any taste.
The 1st
one I am going to share is Chocolate & Peanut Butter Smoothie. I just use
the amount of milk that the Instant Breakfast says to. Which is 1 cup with
either Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate Instant Breakfast Pouch. I use the Milk Chocolate because I am just
not a big fan of Dark Chocolate. Put that in the bullet cup thing. Next add about 2 tablespoons of Peanut
Butter. I normally get the Jif to go. It has the perfect amount of peanut butter
for the smoothie. Then add ½ cup of
regular yogurt. Blend all that
together. Taste it to see if you want it
sweeter. I normally add a little honey.
The 2nd
one is Strawberry. It is basically the
same recipe as the Chocolate & Peanut Butter Smoothie. You just use Strawberry Instant Breakfast
pouch instead of Chocolate. I also add frozen strawberries to get more
strawberry flavor and because I love strawberries. I have also added Blueberries. I did try raspberries before it was good I just
didn’t like that seeds did get blended up very well.
I just think
that the Instant Breakfast works just as well as the protein powers & it
costs less!!
